We are happy to announce the promotion of Cameron Borumand to Principal at Ignition Partners. As Principal, Cameron will continue to play a key role in sourcing, identifying, and supporting new investments. Cameron’s promotion is consistent with a core Ignition value, both internally and with portfolio companies – investing in and developing talent.

“Over the last two years, Cameron’s contributions have been high impact,” said Kellan Carter, Partner at Ignition Partners. “Not only has Cameron sourced great opportunities, he has represented Ignition at the highest level in the Seattle community and delivered superior quality diligence, investment thoughtfulness, and rigor.”

“We are honored to support and celebrate Cameron’s contributions with this promotion, and I look forward to many years and a stellar career in venture for a very talented individual,” added John Connors, Managing Partner, Ignition Partners.

Cameron joined Ignition as an associate in 2017 after several years working in technology investment banking and co-founding an investing firm, Curious Capital, to invest in innovative seed-stage technology companies based in the Pacific Northwest. Prior to Curious, Cameron was a technology investment banker at Vaquero Capital in San Francisco. At Vaquero, Cameron led marketing and diligence efforts, and sourced transactions for two leading software companies. Cameron previously worked as a financial analyst intern for Isilon/EMC.
